Happy New Year from all the staff, Trustees and volunteers of Active Hope
Active Hope 24 hour climbing challenge - fundraiser.
The 24 hour climb was a huge challenge but the staff made it!!! 4 schools also got involved sending teams of children and staff. Although we are still counting up the money raised we are over £2,000 which is great.
Sandstone Challenge 2012
After the success of last year we are looking to repeat this event again this summer. The Sandstone challenge is a 55 km walking challenge that can be undertaken in 1 or 2 days. It is a great opportunity to get a team together and get sponsored for Active Hope and make a difference to local children and young people. The provisional dates for 2012 are the 12th & 13th May. More details including a fundraiser's info pack will be available by the end of February.
Great News.
After being pipped into 2nd place in last years National Creme of Nature Community Action Awards we were awarded 2nd prize of £1,750. We are close to finding a trailer to spend the money on!!

During early 2012 we are currently working in the following schools:
Woolston High School, Green Lane School, Brook Acre Primary, St Bridget's Primary, Dallam Primary School, Warrington Collegiate, St Margarets Primary, Beamont Primary and of course Grappenhall Hall School.
