We are so pleased to announce the INCREDIBLE physical challenge that Gaz Pemberton has set himself to raise funds for our 20th Anniversary year!

Gaz, or "Mr P", was previously on our staff team as one of our amazing Outdoor Instructors.

Not only was he a fabulous instructor, but on several occasions already, he has put himself through the most rigorous challenges like running up and down Snowdon many times one after the other!

This time he is going even further.

Gaz has set himself, not one...but FOUR endurance challenges that he is attempting during 2026!

1.

His first challenge is a local route to him, called "Top of Leach" which is a hill climb in Rossendale, Lancashire.

And in true Gaz style...he isn't climbing it, or walking it - he will be running it.

It's a 4-mile loop - up and down, and he is aiming to run it 236 times!

He's giving himself until December 2026 to complete it.

2.

He is running the London Marathon - the famous 26 mile road race through the streets of our Capital city...this is being run on Sunday 26th April 2026.

3.

Gaz's next challenge is the "Bob Graham Round" - which is a 66-mile serious fell running race in the Lake District, which consists of running up no less than 42 peaks in just 24 hours!

And finally...

4.

Sometime in August 2026, Gaz will aim to complete his own race called "Around the Block 100".

Which surprisingly enough, is where Gaz will run a 1-mile Loop around his house "100 times without stopping"

Quite a challenge!

We are so grateful to Gaz (and his loyal running buddies) for attempting such a mammoth challenge, and we'd really love it if people could get behind him (and us) by sponsoring his efforts - it will push him on!!!

Please, please help Gaz to reach his target of raising £1500 for us by clicking the following link and sponsoring his challenge... however much you can give, will make a real difference.
